María de Tournicote / Mariette by Tournicote

Estas Navidades (sí, todavía no os lo había enseñado!) le regalé a mi tía a Mariette, un amigurumi diseñado por Sandrine Deveze (Tournicote) que aparece en su libro Ganchillo con Ternura.

Last Christmas (yes, I hadn't show it to you yet!) I gave Mariette to my aunt, an amigurumi designed by Sandrine Deveze (Tournicote) from her book Sweet Crochet.

Es la segunda que hago y las dos las he regalado. Quiero hacerme una para mí porque me encanta este diseño. 
Ésta la he hecho en este color mostaza tan bonito. La primera la hice en malva y quedaba también preciosa (la podéis ver en este enlace).

It's the second time I make this design and I have given both of them. I want to make another one for me because I love this amigurumi. 
I've crocheted this one in this beautiful mustard. The first one I made was mauve and it was also lovely (you can see her clicking on this link).

A mi tía le gustó muchísimo! No se lo esperaba y fue toda una sorpresa :)

My aunt really loved it! She didn't expect it and it was a complete surprise :)

Frambuesa de Tournicote / Tournicote's Raspberry

No os había enseñado todavía el regalo que le hice a una compañera de trabajo por su cumpleaños el pasado mes de julio. 

I hadn't show you yet the present I gave to a workmate for her birthday last July.

A Marlés le gustó mucho la muñeca amigurumi que le hice a Joana, la hija de otro compañero de trabajo, del libro Ganchillo con Ternura de Sandrine Deveze (Tournicote), así que tomé buena nota y le tejí una para su cumple. 

Marlés loved the amigurumi doll I crocheted to Joana -another workmate's daughter- from the book Sweet Crochet by Sandrine Deveze (Tournicote), so I took note of this and I made her one for her birthday. 

La única diferencia entre las dos Frambuesas fue el vestido. A la de Marlés le hice un pañuelo, como lleva el patrón original.

The only difference between the two Raspberry amigurumies was the dress. Marlés' doll has a scarf knotted around her neck, like the original pattern.

No se lo esperaba y le encantó! Da gusto hacer regalos hechos a mano cuando notas que los aprecian de verdad :)))

She didn't expect it and she loved it! It's great to give handmade presents when you feel that people really appreciates them :)))

Mi regalo para el Canvi de Mans/ My gift for Canvi de Mans Swap

Ya os puedo enseñar el regalo que he preparado para el Canvi de Mans organizado por Alícia, del blog Ganxetades. Mi sorprendida, Ester del blog Quan tinc temps, ya lo ha recibido :)))

I can already show you the gift I've prepared for the "Canvi de Mans" Swap organized by Alicia (Ganxetades blog). Ester (Quan tinc temps blog) has already received it :)))

Tenía ganas de prepararle algo que todavía no hubiera hecho nunca así que elegí a Mariette, un amigurumi del libro Ganchillo con Ternura de Sandrine Deveze (Tournicote), y un costurero y alfiletero diseño de Minori Design y que aparece en el libro Zakka Style de Rashida Coleman-Hale. ¡Este libro me encanta! Tiene unos diseños preciosos de estilo zakka que se pueden seguir con bastante facilidad.

I wanted to prepare some projects that I had never done before, so I chose to do Mariette, an amigurumi from the book Sweet Crochet by Sandrine Deveze (Tournicote), and a sewing kit and pincushion from Minori Design included in the book Zakka Style by Rashida Coleman-Hale. I love this book! It has really wonderful zakka projects in it that you can follow quite easily.

Además de los regalos, también teníamos que preparar un kit con material + una idea de proyecto. Yo le he preparado uno para que se haga un monedero con boquilla con las telas a conjunto del costurero.

Apart from the gifts, we also had to prepare a kit with material + a project. I've prepared a metal clasp purse kit with the same fabrics as the ones from the sewing kit.

Aquí podéis ver más en detalle cada uno de los regalos. Ester indicó que le gustaban los proyectos modernos, así que elegí estas telas tan alegres y divertidas que, creo, quedan muy bien con el lino. 

Here you can see each gift in detail. Ester indicated that she loved modern projects, this is why I chose these happy and funny fabrics which, I think, go well with linen.

Hacía algún tiempo que había comprado unos sellos de unos animales del bosque en Tiger pero todavía no los había estrenado, así que pensé que era una buena oportunidad para usarlos.

Some time ago I had bought some woodland stamps at Tiger shop but I had never used them before, so I thought it was a good opportunity to use them.

Y aquí tenéis a Mariette. Conchita me ayudó a montarla, aquí me está pasando las piernecillas...

And here there is Mariette. Conchita helped me to assemble it... here she is giving Mariette's little legs to me...

¿No os parece una monada? Me costó decidirme por el color del cuerpo y del lazo, pero creo que acerté, ¡me encanta cómo combina este malva con el negro! El hilo que utilicé es el Katia Alabama. 

Don't you think she is cute? It took me some time to decide which colours I would use for the body and the bow, but I think I was finally right, I love how mauve and black colours combine! I used Katia Alabama yarns.

Y aquí se están despidiendo las dos, Conchita ya me ha pedido que le haga una nueva amiguita para quedarse con nosotros jejeje

In this photo, Conchita and Mariette are saying goodbye to each other. Conchita has already asked me a new friend to stay with us hehehe

 

He disfrutado muchísimo preparando estos regalos para Ester, ¡espero que los disfrute mucho!

I've really enjoyed preparing these gifts for Ester. I hope she enjoys them!

Frambuesa de Tournicote / Tournicote's Raspberry

Hacía ya tiempo que quería el libro Ganchillo con ternura de Sandrine Deveze (Tournicote) y, hace unas semanas, visitando una librería, lo vi y sin dudarlo me lo compré.

It was some time that I wanted the book Sweet Crochet by Sandrine Deveze (Tournicote). Some weeks ago, I was visiting a bookstore and, when I saw it, I bought it without hesitation.

Todos los proyectos son preciosos y cuesta decidirse por cuál empezar.

All the projects in it are wonderful and it's hard to decide which one to do first.

Pero cuando vi a Frambuesa, lo tuve claro: era perfecta para regalársela a la hija de un compañero que justo hoy cumple 8 años.

However, when I saw Rasberry, it was clear to me: it was perfect to give it as a present to one of my workmate's daughter, who is 8 today.

El año pasado ya le regalé una conejita de peluche y una corona, que podéis ver en este post. Por cierto, mi compañero me dijo el otro día que duerme con ella cada noche, ¡qué ilusión!

Last year I  gave her a bunny softie and a crown, which you can see in this post. By the way, my colleague told me the other day that she sleeps with it all nights, it's great!

En el patrón original, Frambuesa lleva tan sólo un pañuelo anudado al cuello. Queda muy mona sin vestir -podéis verlo en las fotos- pero yo he preferido hacerle un vestido. 

In the original pattern, Rasberry takes only a scarf knotted around her neck. She's really cute without getting dressed, as you can see on the photos, but I preferred to make her a dress.

Conchita estaba un poco celosa de tanta foto a Frambuesa y decidió unirse a la sesión jejeje 

Conchita was a bit jealous of all the photos I was taking to Rasberry, so she decided to join her hehehe
