¿Cómo lleváis el verano (o invierno, si me leéis desde el otro hemisferio)? Yo estoy deseando empezar ya las vacaciones... una semanita más de trabajo y ya estarán aquí. Así que, de momento, todo sigue bastante igual que durante el resto del año... eso sí, por casa estamos poco ya que buscamos sitios fresquitos para aguantar el calor. 

How is your Summer going on (or Winter, if you're reading me from the southern hemisphere)? I'm dying to begin my holidays... just one week more. At the moment, everything is like the rest of the year, although we don't stay too much time at home because we're always looking for cool places to spend our time.

¡He tenido mucha suerte!! He ganado el sorteo que organizó Emi, del blog Días Maravillosos, para celebrar sus 8 años de blog. He recibido dos revistas, una tela sobre costura y un par de postales de su precioso país, Costa Rica. Las revistas son de hace unos años pero están como nuevas. Seguro que aprovecharé algún diseño para inspirarme. Y la tela es perfecta para utilizarla en algún proyecto que tenga que ver con la costura :)) Muchísimas gracias Emi!!! 

I've been very lucky!! I've won the giveaway that Emi, from the blog Días Maravillosos, organized to celebrate her 8th blog anniversary. I've received two magazines, a sewing fabric and a pair of postcards from her beautiful country, Costa Rica. The magazines are a bit old, but they seem new. I'm sure I'll use some designs for my future works. And the fabric is perfect to use in a sewing project :))) Thanks a lot Emi!!!

Mi primera entrada / My First Post

Hace unos días, Mary Carmen, del blog CosoQueTeCoso, tuvo una gran idea y nos propuso enseñar la primera entrada que publicamos en el blog. 

Some days ago, Mary Carmen (CosoQueTeCoso blog), had a great idea and suggested that we could show again the first post we published in our blogs. 

La mía es del 17 de octubre del 2008 y la podéis leer en este enlace. Me he reído mucho al releerlo porque me he acordado de este gorro que le tejí a Bruno... y que nunca se ha podido poner!! jajaja es diminuto!!! Eso sí, mi hermana lo tiene bien guardado y siempre que voy a visitarles me lo saca y nos reímos un buen rato.

I published mine in 17th October 2008 and you can read it in this link. I've laughed a lot because I've remembered this baby hat I knitted for Bruno... a hat he has never been able to put on!!! hahaha it's so tiny!!! But my sister has kept it and, whenever I visit them, she shows it to me and we have a good laugh.

Yo diría que no lo debió leer nadie jejeje bueno, sí, yo y quizás alguien de mi familia ;-)

I'd say that nobody read it hehehe well, yes, me and maybe somebody from my family ;-)

Quiero aprovechar para agradecerle a Paqui, del blog Dreams, que haya pensado en mí para darme un premio. Muchísimas gracias! Me ha hecho mucha ilusión! :))

Hoy escribo un artículo que va a estar lleno de agradecimientos públicos.

Today I'm writing a blog post full of public thanks.

Y el primero de ellos es para Mary Carmen del blog Coso Que Te Coso. En diciembre, me dedicó un post en su blog pero entre que estuve enferma, las Navidades y las post-Navidades, se me había pasado decíroslo. La verdad es que me emocionó mucho, fue toda una sorpresa y dijo cosas muy bonitas sobre mí :)) 

Si todavía no la conocéis, no dudéis en hacerle una visita, además de conocer a una persona muy positiva y llena de energía, podréis ver unos trabajos preciosos y unos tutoriales muy interesantes.

And the first one goes to Mary Carmen (Coso Que Te Coso). Last December, she dedicated one post to me but, because of the flu, Christmas and post-Christmas, I didn't tell you. I was really moved by her post, it was a great surpise and she wrote very nice things about me :))
If you still don't know her, go and visit her. Apart from meeting a very positive and enthusiastic person, you will see very nice projects and interesting tutorials.

Además, estos últimos meses he tenido mucha suerte ya que he ganado varios sorteos. Aparte del que gané de La Ardillita de Patch y que os enseñé en este post, he ganado tres más!! Sí, sí, ¡¡tres!! Así que este año, en mi trabajo y en mi casa, fui la encargada de comprar los números para la lotería de Navidad... jajaja yo ya les avisé que no se hicieran muchas ilusiones, y, efectivamente, no nos tocó ni el reintegro! 

Moreover, these last months I've been very lucky as I've won some giveaways. Apart from the one I won from La Ardillita de Patch that I showed you here, I've won three more!! Yes, three!! So, last Christmas, I was asked to buy the Christmas Lottery numbers for my work and home hahaha I told them not to be very hopeful, and, I was right, we didn't even win the refund!

El primero de ellos fue esta magnífica lámpara-lupa que sorteó la revista Patchwork en Casa. Os podéis imaginar que, todavía cuando la miro, se me escapa una sonrisa. Vamos, y no la acaricio diciendo "mi tesoro" porque quedaría un poco raro jejeje

The first one was organized by Patchwork en Casa magazine, and I won this superb lamp with magnifying glass. You can imagine that, when I look at it, a big smile appears on my face. And I don't caress it saying "My Treasure" because I'd look a bit crazy hehehe.

El segundo fue el nº 5 de la revista El Costurero que sorteó Cristina, del blog Oh!Villo. Me encanta! En cada nuevo número se superan. Tiene unos contenidos muy interesantes y una edición muy cuidada. 

The second one was organized by Cristina (Oh!Villo) and I won nº 5 of El Costurero magazine. I love it! Each number is better than the previous one. Contents are very interesting and it has a careful edition.

Y el tercero es una lámina de un Furby monísimo de la artista @ardmad y un librito con una recopilación de sus ilustraciones. Este premio lo he conseguido a través de Instagram y lo recibí esta semana. Todo un detallazo que me ha alegrado la semana :)) 

And the third one is from artist @ardmad: a cute Furby illustration and a book with a compillation of her work. I've won it in Instagram and I received it this week. It was a wonderful gesture that has brighten up my week :))

Y por último, Ana de La Ardillita de Patch me ha entregado estos tres premios. Ana, muchísimas gracias por pensar en mí! Me ha hecho mucha ilusión!! :))
