Otro conejito bípedo / Another Two-legged Bunny Rattle

Mi amiga Cris tuvo hace un par de meses a Janna, una niñita preciosa y muy buena. Quería hacerle un detalle y tuve claro que le haría un conejito bípedo de Lanukas, ¡es un diseño monísimo!

My friend Cris had a baby a pair of months ago, Janna, a beautiful and sweet little girl. I wanted to make something to her and I knew exactly that I'd do a two-legged bunny amigurumi designed by Lanukas. Such a cute design!

Es el segundo que hago y confirmo que me encanta! Y es tan sencillo! El primero que hice era para mi futuro sobrino y os lo enseñé aquí. 

It's the second one I do and I love it! and it's so easy to do! The first one I did was for my future nephew and you can see it here.

En este caso he utilizado los colores malva y crudo del hilo Katia Alabama (50% algodón y 50% acrílico). Me gusta cómo queda esta combinación de colores para una niña. 

Ah, y también le he añadido un cascabel para que lo use como sonajero.

In this case I've used mauve and ecru colours of Katia Alabama yarns (50% cotton & 50% acrylic). I love this combination of colours for a little girl.

Oh, and I've also put a little bell in it so she can use it as a rattle.

Janna ya lo ha recibido y ya le está dando unos buenos achuchones jeje.

Janna has already received it and she's squashing it hehe.

Sonajero Nanuk / Nanuk's Rattle

En el Festival Internacional de Patchwork de Sitges de este año me compré un kit de un sonajero de Nanuk. Cuando lo vi, pensé que era perfecto para regalárselo a mi futuro sobrino. Ah, y por cierto, ya sabemos que será un niño , otro niño :))) 

In the Sitges International Patchwork Festival I bought a rattle kit from Nanuk. When I saw it, I thought it was perfect for my future nephew. Ah, and we already know it will be a boy, another boy :)))

Por si no conocéis a Nanuk, hacen ilustraciones en tela termoadhesivas que se aplican sobre tela, etc. Son monísimas y muy simpáticas. En su web dan algunas ideas para aplicarlas.

In case you don't know Nanuk, they make thermo-adhesive illustrations that can be applied on fabric, etc. They are so cute and nice. In their website they give some ideas to use them.

Este sonajero en particular ha sido diseñado por Aikamaku. Es ideal para los bebés y muy fácil y rápido de hacer. 

This rattle has been designed by Aikamaku. It's ideal for babies and it's very easy and quick to do.

En cada cara del cubo hay aplicada una ilustración. Aunque al plancharlas ya quedan bien fijadas, he preferido coser con punto de festón alrededor para asegurarlas aún más y, al mismo tiempo, darles un toque divertido.

Each side of the cube has an illustration applied on. And, even though they are well-fixed when they're ironed, I've preferred to sew a blanket stitch around each one to reinforce them, and to give them a funny touch.

El kit incluye cintas cintas de diferentes colores y texturas que van cosidas a cada borde del cubo. Así el bebé podrá jugar con ellas... o chupetearlas sin parar jejeje

The kit has ribbons of different colours and textures which are sewn to each edge of the cube, so the baby can play with them... or suck them all the time hehehe

Además, las  telas son muy alegres y de colores muy vivos.

Besides, fabrics are happy and bright.

Y dentro va un cascabel que seguro llamará la atención de mi sobrino.

I've put a rattle inside, which will surely attract my nephew's attention.

Sitges 2015

Este fin de semana se ha celebrado el Festival Internacional de Patchwork de Sitges y este año me acerqué el jueves por la tarde y el sábado todo el día para poder coincidir con varias amigas.

The International Patchwork Festival has taken place in Sitges during this weekend. This year I've been there on Thursday afternoon and on Saturday to meet some friends.

Tuvimos suerte porque, aunque se anunciaban lluvias, el tiempo nos respetó, y durante el día hizo bastante sol y todo.

We have been lucky because, although it was supposed to be wet, it didn't rain and it was, in fact, quite sunny.

 

El sábado estaba abarrotado, aunque a partir de la hora de la comida la cosa se tranquilizó y te podías acercar a los puestos. 

On Saturday it was packed with people, but from lunch time it calmed down and you could even go close to the stands.

Pero aunque había mucha gente, el ambiente era muy tranquilo y sólo se veían sonrisas y gente disfrutando. 

Even though there was a lot of people, everything was calm and you could only see people enjoying and smiling.

Como cada año, muchos puestos ponían el cartel de prohibido hacer fotos, se supone que para no copiar sus trabajos (??). No sé qué opináis vosotras, pero entre nosotras lo comentamos y lo encontramos una tontería, sobre todo cuando en Internet ellos mismos publican fotos de sus trabajos y, si alguien quiere copiarlos, puede hacerlo desde allí... en fin...

Like every year, you couldn't take any photos of many stands, supposedly not to copy their works (??). I don't know what you think about this, but we talked about this and we think it's a quite a silly thing, especially because they publish their works on Internet and, if you want to copy something, you can do it directly from their web sites... anyway...

Oveja Beeetty de Lanukas / Lanukas' Beeetty Sheep

Hoy por fin os puedo enseñar lo que he estado tejiendo estos días. Leire ya lo ha recibido y me consta que ya le ha dado unos buenos achuchones jeje

Today I can show you what I've been crocheting these days. Leire has received it and she's already begun to squash it hehe

El patrón de la ovejita Beeetty también es de Lanukas, como el del conejito bípedo que os enseñé en este post. Y también le he puesto un cascabel para que se use como sonajero.

The pattern of the Beeetty Sheep (also in English) has also been designed by Lanukas, like the two-legged bunny I showed you in this post. And I've also added a little bell so it can be used as a rattle.

En cuanto a los hilos, he seguido las recomendaciones de Lanukas y he utilizado el beige claro del Katia Alabama (50% algodón 50% acrílico) para las patas, la cara y las orejas y el blanco del Katia Bombon (100% poliester) para el cuerpo.

As for the yarns, I've followed Lanukas' recommendation and I've used light beige colour of Katia Alabama (50% cotton 50% acrylic) for the legs, face and ears, and white Katia Bombon (100% polyester) for the body.

Reconozco que este hilo peludo me ha costado un poco de tejer, sobre todo porque no veía los puntos de la vuelta anterior y tenía que estar muy concentrada contando para no saltarme ningún punto o para no hacer más puntos de los necesarios. 

It has been quite difficult to crochet with this hairy yarn, especially because I didn't see the stitches from the previous round and I had to be really concentrated if I didn't want to jump any stitch or to make more stitches.

Pero ha valido la pena, me encanta cómo queda!! Es súper suave y achuchable!

But it's really worth it, I love it!! It's extremely soft and you just want to squash it!

Conejito bípedo de Lanukas / Lanukas' Two-legged Bunny Rattle

Tengo una gran noticia que daros: voy a ser tía de nuevo! :))) Así que ya os podéis imaginar que he empezado a hacer una lista con todo lo que le quiero hacer al bebé. 

I have some great news to share with you: I'm going to be an aunt again! :))) So you can imagine that I've begun to write a list with all the projects I want to do for the baby.

Todavía no sabemos si será niño o niña, así que, de momento, esperaré para hacer algunos proyectos, como la colcha de la cuna (aquí y aquí podéis ver las que les he hecho a Bruno y a Simón, mis otros sobrinos).

We don't know yet if the baby will be a boy or a girl, so, at the moment, I'll wait to make some of the projects, like the quilt for his/her cot (you can see here and here the quilts I've made for Bruno and Simón, my other nephews).

De momento, he empezado con el simpático conejito bípido de ganchillo diseñado por Lanukas. Le he añadido un cascabel para que lo utilicen como sonajero. 

At the moment, I've begun with the lovely crochet two-legged bunny (in English too) designed by Lanukas. I've added a little bell so it can be used as a rattle.

No sé si os pasa a veces, pero el sábado por la tarde me entraron todas las prisas por empezarlo y no tenía hilos!. Me acerqué (corriendo) a El Calaix antes de que cerraran y compré los colores limón y beige claro del hilo Katia Alabama (50% algodón y 50% acrílico), un hilo muy cómodo de trabajar.

I don't know if it happens to you too, but on Saturday evening I was in a big hurry to begin it but I didn't have any yarns!. So I went (running) to El Calaix just before they closed. I bought lemon and light beige colours of Katia Alabama yarn (50% cotton & 50% acrylic), very easy to work with.

Ha sido realmente adictivo hacerlo. ¿No os parece una monada? De verdad que dan ganas muchas de achucharlo.

It's been really addictive to do. Don't you think it's cute? You just want to squash it.
