Vacaciones y 12 Meses en Rojo - Septiembre / September & Holidays

Y por fin he acabado el último bloque que me quedaba de este SAL, septiembre! Estos últimos bloques, como los he cogido con ganas, no se me han hecho nada pesados de hacer. 

So, I have finally finished the last block for this SAL, September! I've really liked to do these last blocks, I suppose that this is so because I really wanted to finish them.

Alguna de vosotras me ha escrito para decirme que no encontraba los primeros bloques, y no me extraña: lo empecé hace ¡¡3 años!!! Uf, parece que fue ayer, y ya han pasado todos estos años! 

Some of you have written to me to ask me about the first blocks I did, since they didn't find them. I'm not surprised, I began it 3 years ago!!! It seems it was yesterday, and all this time has passed!

Ahora "sólo" me falta unirlos y después acolcharlos. Quiero ponerme ya a hacerlo porque, si no, me temo que volverá a quedarse aparcado.

Now I "only" need to sew them together and quilt them. I want to begin it now, or I'm afraid I'll put it on ice again.

Esta semana estoy de vacaciones y mañana mismo me voy a pasar unos días a Florencia :))) Tengo muchas ganas de visitarla ya que todo el mundo que conozco que ha estado allí me la han recomendado. Así que estos días me encontraréis en mi Instagram.  

This week I'm on holidays, and tomorrow I'm going to Florence :))) I'm really looking forward to it, everybody I know that has been there has recommended it to me. So, these days, you will find me in my Instagram.

Como os dije aquí, este verano me fui a pasar unos días a casa de mi hermana en un pueblo de Castilla.

As I told you here, in August I went to visit my sister at her home in a small village in Castile.

Siempre que voy allí, el primer día me cuesta acostumbrarme ir sin prisas a todas partes. En Barcelona todo está cronometrado al milímetro, y aquí los horarios casi casi los marca el estómago ;)

Every time I go there, the first day I find it difficult to go at a leisurely pace. In Barcelona, everything is timed, and here it's the stomach that times the daytime hours ;)

También tuvimos tiempo de ir al huerto y coger unas cebollas enormes!

We also had time to go to vegetable garden and pick some huge onions!

Y un día fuimos a visitar una bodega de la zona. Nunca había visitado ninguna y me gustó la experiencia, sobre todo la cata jejeje 
One day we went to visit a winery of the are. I've never visited one before and I liked the experience a lot, especially the tasting hehehe

En resumen, fueron unos días muy muy muy tranquilos... ah, y me dio tiempo a terminar los mantelitos individuales de mis sobrinillos. En mi próximo post os los enseño :)))

In brief, I spent some really quiet days... oh, and I had time to finish the place mats for my nephews. I'll show them to you in my next post :)))
